    We ordered: -vegetable & tofu pho: 4.5 stars. (Would have been 5 but they used fried tofu in it instead of fresh). -basil fried rice: 3 stars. A bit greaser than most and smaller serving then we're used too, But regular on taste. -fresh spring rolls with tofu: 3 stars. Wasn't memorable but wasn't bad. -clay pot rice with vegetables, tofu, and curry: 4 stars. A little greasy for my taste. **customer service: 5 stars. Would definitely return for the pho! :)

    Here your are paying more for less! My bill for the same food was almost $15, when it was only $11 in California! Also the place I was at in northern California had a significantly higher cost of living than here in the Daytona area, so it should have been cheaper. Not the case! My pork vermicelli came from the kitchen with a mass of noodles and a sprinkling of pork! Everything is pretty bland. The spring rolls were quite bland and the sauce it came with was also lacking in flavor. I'm used to going to Pho Saigon #1; it's cheaper and better. The staff was pretty friendly, which was nice but if the food is not up to par then it doesn't account into my rating.

    Stopped here with my for some hot and yummy soup and that is what we got! They serve the soup in large deep bowls that are perfect for sipping ever last drop of savory broth. We had their spring rolls as a appetizer and it came with a peanut sauce that was out of this world! Whenever we are in the area, we'll be sure to return to this nifty spot.

    Not bad. Pho was decent. This place gets busy at lunch time, so come before 11:30am. Clean restaurant and friendly servers. My server was quick so I was in and out in 35mins for my lunch break. I would come back--when I'm in town.

    It's the beast PHO I've never had in my life ...!!! Plenty of flavor, the food always fresh and healthy, The atmosphere inside warmly and the servers were very nice and professional. I must return here every time when I'm back in daytona breach..!!!!!! Love this place.

    I consider myself a pho-king Pho Lover. I eat it once a week. Pho at this place is pho-king terrible. The soup base is terrible. It's like they used a powdered soup base and not a quality all day simmer beef bone kind of stock. It will leave an after taste long after having dessert at Cow Licks. I suspect tooooo much MSG and a lack of respect for their most popular Noodle Soup. How could you! fyi, Pho is probably one of the easiest dishes to make, soup stock being the most important. If you can't make soup stock, you don't have passion for your food! p.s. The worst pho I have ever had.

    When my husband and I arrived we were seated quickly and our waiter was very friendly. Like many others, the Pad Thai was mediocre at best. The flavor was "subtle" meaning it really could have had more flavor. While I've eaten a lot of Pad Thai having lived in and around the Washington DC Metro area, I've never had the egg cooked quite this way and it was burnt. The chicken and vegetables could have been cut smaller by the chef. My husband's beef tenderloin clay pot was not flavorful either, he needed to add a lot of Soy Sauce in order to get any flavor. We were disappointed and expected more.

    "Pho'k yeah!" Okay so we didn't even have the pho--I just wanted to say "pho'k yeah" BUT the Clay pot dishes are amazing! Also the skillet dish--on the menu it is "L5." The sweet tea is also very unique and delicious using an Asian-style tea instead of the traditional tea that goes with iced tea. Also had the shrimp wonton appetizer (basic), fresh rolls with peanut sauce (peanut sauce was one of the best I've had) were excellent, and the crab rangoons (these are just your basic but we always get them). The fried ice cream dessert is something I've never had. It's actually been deep fried-the outside is a dough but the interior is solid ice cream. Sweet and a perfect end to a great meal.

    A nice little restaurant not far from the beach. It looked quiet from the outside but saw quite a few Vietnamese people eating there, which to me is a good sign. Friendly service even if the English was not great. Food was all fresh. My wife said her noodles were a bit bland but I liked the fried rice with beef. I would definitely go there again when next in Daytona Beach.

    Driving by I saw a sign for bubble teas. YES! I had to go in and try to see if I would have two places in the area that serve one of my favorite addictions. I ordered the almond milk tea with pearls. As usual, the milk teas are highly sweetened for the local clientele; if you are like me, just ask for less. Such a tasty dessert, but it is a tad more expensive and smaller than what you get at Yomii down in Port Orange. Pho Saigon's tapioca pearls are cooked better, though. Now I just have to try the rest of the food.

    Service: great Atmosphere: laid back Dining room: clean! I had 33 Export Beer and Pho Ga. I travel all of North America for a living; with that said I must admit that the Pho Ga here ranks high on my list of quality. The broth is important to me and this place has fantastic flavor. I recommend this restaurant based upon their Pho, service, cleanliness, and value.

    PHO TIME in Daytona Beach on my birthday, so I am in heaven! Love this place, as always and so far it's been 1.5 years of frequenting this lovely establishment. I usually order the regular-sized Pho Ga (chicken) and get a couple of Banh Mi (Viet chicken subs). The Banh Mi ain't your average Subway sandwich, either. It is colorfully dressed with all sorts of healthy edible greens and laced with their secret recipe dressing that keeps me coming back for me. Seriously, whenever I crave a sandwich, this is the only one I desire. The chicken in it is grilled to perfection and you can taste that even some of the veggies in it are grilled, as well. I will try to try more things on this menu, but what I described above is usually what I crave so much and the drive is about 25-30 minutes into Daytona Beach lol. The food (obviously) and the excellent customer service keeps this place at 5 stars for me. You will not be disappointed.

    Cam here not expecting much because it's Daytona and was pleasantly surprised. I am pretty picky when it comes to Pho as it's something I ear often. The waitress here said that the Pho is the owner's family recipe and many of the herbs are grown on-site. Everything we tried was pretty great. I won't stop going to my usual spot in Orlando but this one can fill in when I'm feeling the need for some Pho in Daytona. Give it a try.

    Great place! I love their peanut sauce with the Spring Rolls, and their food is always so fresh. I normally have lunch here, they have Vietnamese sandwiches that are delicious and reasonable!

    Pho was good! for a Pho place to be in Daytona Beach, I was shocked that the broth was good and just as comparable to San Jose, CA's quality. I was expecting below par standards but was pleasantly surprised to find the pho to be VERY authentic. 3 stars and a half for authenticity in Daytona Beach. Coffee was also good. The staff was very courteous and polite, I love the service!!!! 4 stars!!! The bad deal - they open too late and close too soon :( but everyone must have a life!!!

    The pho here is amazing! Please try it the broth is truly a crafted broth. I wouldn't be surprised if it's made 24-48 hours similar to a master stock. It was that good!!! I would have eaten this last night if I lived in Daytona. My throat feeling a tad scratchy from all the pollen and this soup is a great cure all! We also sampled their summer rolls, very good but would have liked some thai basil and more veggies in there. Peanut sauce was perfect though! Can't wait to return! Since I never published the first yelp I did and I came back for a 2nd trip I figured I would make some amendments, the 1st time was great the 2nd time I would have to rate it at a 7. The summer rolls were better this time but the pho lacked. Maybe lunch time, idk? I was a tad embarrassed b/c I bragged to a friends and brought her along. She ordered the chickens based pho broth with (hers was better). After we ordered our traditional phos 1st one under pho they told us they were out of about half the ingredients it's suppose to come with. I was only offered to add more meatballs...come on. You can't tell someone that most of the ingredients are gone and only offer more meatballs. The broth was also less flavorful. I originally gave a 5 star, but now I'm giving 4.

    My honey and I went to lunch here with his boss on a very slow Tuesday afternoon. By very slow I mean that we were one of only four tables in there at the height of the "lunch rush". Our waitress was very nice but the service was as slow as molasses!! it took 45 minutes for our lunch to arrive at our table after we ordered. Once it finally arrived lunch was delicious. We all had pho and were stuffed by the end of the meal. We'll go back again but just not when we are in a hurry. Side note: a man came in as we were getting our bill, ordered take-out and it was ready when we were walking out!!! Next time take-out???

    Springy, soft noodles, fresh summer rolls. The food here was surprisingly very, very good for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere! I am obsessed with pho and the broth was flavorful, without being laden with MSG like at some places I've been to. It wasn't a revelatory bowl of soup, but still very much worth your visit. Our teenage waiter was extremely polite and courteous, and our outdoor table was fantastic. The weather was perfect that day. I just wish they closed a little later!

    This was my first experience with Pho, and it was a good one. My buddy eats Pho all of the time, and he said it was on par with all the places he usually goes. Nothing life altering, but good Pho. We both agreed the egg rolls were very good, the service was great. I recommend having a '33' (Vietnamese beer) with it.

    I ordered P6, which is the Pho with medium rare steak.. the soup was really good and so was the fried chicken wing appetizer. Family owned establishment; very very friendly owners/staff. Beer is ridiculously cheap here.... $2.50 I would definitely go back here.

    Most be under new mngmnt. Previous visits were great. Tonight service was lame. Food just ok but slow even though there was only 1 other table occupied. Made us feel like we were doing them a favor. Just a strange vibe. Not the family that use to serve and play piano and make it worth the $. The place next to walgreens/marshalls on nova and dunlaughton is a better option.

    It was great. I had the pho. Could have used a couple more chunks of tendon. Still high marks. My friend had either #32 or 33, a bowl if super hot rice and meat, that's what I want to try next time. He said it was really good. Will definitely be back.

    Phō Tai is outstanding, Fresh rolls were perfect. Will be back every time im in town. Restaurant was clean. Service was quick and good. Very traditional food.

    Excellent banh mi: flavorful on a soft yet crispy bun. The pho broth is very flavorful, though does benefit from a squirt or two of Sriracha. Spring rolls with pork were made delicious with their peanut sauce, although the rice wrapper was chewy. The atmosphere was welcoming and one can tell that this restaurant is family-owned and run with wholehearted dedication. The Christmas decorations, though gaudy, showed enthusiasm for pleasing customers of all backgrounds. Would come back for a casual lunch.

    I was craving some warm broth and comfort during my visit in Daytona Beach, so we looked up s om lunch places on yelp and thought we'd try this place. Maybe I'm too used to the deeper and richer broth on the west coast, where I'm from, but I found the soup a little lacking. The service was also a little lacking. The pho did its job to satisfying my craving for some warm broth, but I'm not sure if I'd come back again.

    Just had lunch here and I must say this place is pretty good. The restaurant locates at the corner of the street, yellow-cottage looking on the outside and cozy on the inside. I ordered pho Saigon, rice w/ grilled pork, shrimp, and eggrolls, crispy rice noodle combination, clay-potted rice w/pork, and a fried rice combo. My tab is $70. You might think it's overpriced, but they are located by the beach! What do you expect?

    Yay for Yelp and the reviews that made me want to pop in. Started with the fresh rolls (yum!) The chicken pho came with sprouts and fresh herbs and just tasted so "clean" which was great because I was starving and needed good, healthy food to fill me up and not junk. Then the coconut bubble tea?!?! Heaven! So good! Definitely recommend this place!

    The best pho I've had in Daytona Beach. I come here every time I am visiting the area. The restaurant is always clean and there's plenty of parking. I've always had friendly servers and the the atmosphere is very laid back. The food is very good- I had a pad thai once and multiple times the pho ga (chicken). The medium sized bowl is still huge and the broth is delicious. Plenty of meat, lime, basil and sprouts. Will continue coming back every visit.

    The food was great. We eat Vietnamese cuisine on a regular basis. My only problem with this place is the slower than normal service. I think they only had one cook & one waitress. They should change this quickly if they want to stay afloat. There were a few things they missed the mark on due to being understaffed.

    After years of wondering what this place was all about, I finally went for lunch. We got there before noon, and apparently this place fills up, so make sure that you get there before the rush. Also, the parking lot is kind of cramped, even for a small car like mine. The Pho I ordered had veggie broth, noodles and mixed veggies. It was very flavorful, ample and filling. Regardless of what Kenny Bania says, soup is a meal.

    Clean, comforting and delicious. This simple restaurant serves steaming bowls of fragrant and healthy goodness. I had #27 the seafood pho along with the iced jasmine tea. The soup was loaded with fresh vegetables, shrimp and squid it was feast for my nose and mouth. The service was friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer so I could come back more often and try some of the other dishes. What I saw going by looked fresh and beautifully served.

    Pretty good! I recently visited Pho Saigon. I had the Grilled chicken with curry lemongrass with vermicelli which was very tasty. When you first walk into the building its really dark and empty but I trusted the yelp reviews and took a chance. To my surprise my meal was good. I will visit again.

    I'm from out of town and I want to comeback before we leave this week. The food was amazing!!! The clay pot chicken and beef with curry and lemon grass was very flavory and the birds nest egg noodle was awesome!!! Also the service was 2nd to none. By the way they are open on Sunday

    I've eaten here many times and love it each time, the staff and atmosphere are great too. This place has the best bahn mi, chicken fried rice, chicken pad thai, and Pho ga around. I'm from DC and very picky. I searched all over for a good Vietnamese restaurant when we moved here. This place has the best Vietnamese food I've had in the state of Florida and i can't wait to go back.

    I am from NY and am a picky eater when it comes to Viet places. I have my favorite Viet place in Brooklyn and my other favorite Bahn Mi shop in Brooklyn. And I can't believe that my cousin, who has been living in Daytona for almost a year has never stepped foot in here...shame on u! With expectations low when I travel outside NYC, I never expect anything than finding a mere decent Asian restaurant. This place is half a restaurant in the front with the rear and 2nd level appearing to be living quarters or attached apartments. Anyway, there is outdoor seating outside and numerous tables inside. This place is very well kept and decor is not old nor boring nor extravagant nor too Asiany (I know that isn't really a word)...it's a quiet, relaxing place to grab lunch or dinner. The hostess, cashier, waitress was a very friendly and nice Caucasian lady, which surprised me...but she knew her Pho, Bun, Bahn Mi's, etc....I forgot to ask for her name but she cool. I ordered grilled pork & chicken on vermicelli noodles (without broth) and boy was it fresh and tasty and really good! Upon inquiring, I found out that many herbs and veggies are grown in their backyard. Billy, the owner arrived in the U.S. in the 70's and the chefs are Viet. One last thing, the prices here are actually high for Viet...I think my dish was $10-$11...in Brooklyn, I pay around $6-$7. But, it isn't really comparable. If in Daytona and you are in the mood for Asian food and actually and aficionado for Asian food...your First Stop And Probably Only Stop is Pho Saigon!

    I've been to Orlando many times and eating Pho many great play within orlando. and this place is very pricey and the worst Pho. I guess This place maybe for tourist only, but not for vietnamese who looking for a good bowl of PHo.

    This was my first trip to Pho Saigon and I found the place to be very clean and neat. The staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Our party of four included a vegan and there were plenty of dishes for her to choose from. The rest of us shared several different appetizers and all of them were good. We also ordered a whole fried snapper as well as two kinds of Pho. Each of those was more than ample in size so we ended up taking half of the orders home in Pho-To-Go containers. All of the dishes were authentic, fresh, hot and served quickly. The only down side for me was that the current menu is not as expansive as the one on their website and a lot of their dishes shown on line have been eliminated, so wait until you actually get there to choose your meal. The prices shown on the website are also not reflective of the current rates. That aside, I will definitely be going back to try more of Pho Saigon's dishes in the very near future.     This place is OK, as far as restaurants in Daytona goes its better then most, but as far as Vietnamese goes its not great, but still good. I tried a variety of items here the other day. One thing that really stood out as original was the pork stuffed chicken wings. Apparently the waiters mother thought that one up or brought the idea over from Vietnam, who knows? The "bun" noodles with pork were really good, the pho was tasty. The only problem was the portions were a little on the skimpy side. Some more noodles would have made everything alright. Service was good and the place was clean.

    The place was dark and empty but based on our Yelp search was sat down and prepared for a good meal. They have all the Vietnamese classic like Bun and Bahn Mi, but I always get Bun with lemongrass tofu when trying a new place. We started with tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce and they tasted good and fresh. They also have a Chinese beer I like called Tsingtao. My girl got a special from the back page of the menu of some grilled Mahi and vegetables with white rice. That fish was so good and moist, her onions were caramelized but yet crunchy. I loved her dish more than mine. The music is a little tacky but somewhat unique. It's like some sad Vietnam war theme music with a beat. The owner is cool and came by after he saw me looking around and at him. They seem to be enjoying themselves at a table near the kitchen. More customers came in as we ate. I would be here often if I called Daytona home. P.S. Their point of sale system is pretty old so don't go expecting split items on split checks and itemized copies of such said madness. It can't be done and will just cause confusion and ruin your experience.

    I wanted to like this mostly well-reviewed place. I took two friends here last week and the dining experience was rough... from the dirty table, to the terribly bland fresh spring rolls, to the uber-spicy pho (and I LOVE hot food), to the painfully shy young server, to the over the hill (brown) broccoli. The one bright spot was the chicken dumpling soup, which I ordered for myself but later gave to the guest of honor as she was literally choking on her overly spicey pho.

    Very tasty pho and great service. My mom ordered the seafood pho, and for her first experience with pho, was very pleased. I've had a lot of pho previously, and my standard order of pho with everything (brisket,tendon,rare steak,tripe,beef balls) was very tasty. Bonus points for offering something other than greasy fried seafood that seemed to dominate the area.

    Service is often hurried but you will get in and out in a lunch break time. Lots of fresh tasting items that have flovor from the ingredients, not corn starch and base. They actually grow some of the vegetables that they use and many of the fresh herbs. I cant begin to name the dishes, except for the fresh rolls. My wife has tried several soups which are, typical for this kind of place, a main course item. I have had several stir fry dishes- lots of fresh vegetables. Not a fancy place but neat and clean. We always leave having enjoyed ourselves.

    I should have flown in my folks in from Pho 79! Very little flavor in the soup, just salt. Spring rolls were good though, and the young man serving us was nice. The cooks need to go through Pho University. Holler at me!

    Yummy. Great non traditional Christmas choice. Waiter was nice and waitress was wonderful. We had a variety of dishes. The chicken soup was delicious. The clay hot pot was very good and the #47 was tasty. Try the taro drink.

    My family had dinner here after a day at the beach. The pho was mediocre, spring rolls are ok and the crab wontons are norm, Banh mi was good tho. Expensive for what it is.

    The service here is always good. They have the best pho in the Daytona Beach area. If you want Vietnamese food, this is the place. I also recommend the clay pot dishes and the ginger fish snapper. Don't forget to have some appetizers like the fresh rolls or the bok choy. As an added benefit, have their chili paste. SPICY!!!

    Food was really tasty and fresh. I had a number 37, grilled shrimp vermicelli and my husband had a pho Saigon. The atmosphere was cheerful and clean. If your from the west coast/ Orange County, you might think this is more of a 2 star, but for Florida, we felt it deserved a 4.

    Overall I enjoyed the food here. The egg roll and clear roll with grilled pork were decent. The Vietnamese sub was actually not bad at all. However, the beef tenderloin sizzler was very greasy & the pho was somewhat bland. The kicker is they automatically charged 18% gratuity for 5 people onto our bill. Ouch. For average everything (service, atmosphere, & food) no need for high high high tips.

    A serious disappointment on several counts. Takeaway: (1) tasteless, bland food. (2) Weird atmosphere trying hard to be quirky. (3) Smug hipster servers with attitudes. Do yourself a favor and eat a pizza instead. Spent $100 for five people, which is not a big deal if the chow is decent, but no. Pho broth was utterly tasteless and watered down, and couldn't be helped by ANY condiment -not even my beloved Sriracha -- available at the table. I even tried soy sauce in a last desperate effort to do something with this "thing". Pho came with a short serving of beansprouts and 1 (one!) slice of jalapeno. C'mon, really? But what put me off was the eye of round in the broth. It looked to be sliced off a large piece of beef with a knife -- uneven thicknesses and odd shapes. Coincidentally, it looked like the same slices of beef, however cooked, that was served in some beef and brown sauce plate my teenage son ordered. Would it kill you to buy a meat slicer and use it for the soup?? Nice and tough meat too. Good quality -- NOT. My daughters had lemon grass bun -- both with chicken. Chicken was tasteless (like boiled tasteless) and the bun had absolutely no flavoring save for the herbs -- I guess we're supposed to drown it in fish and soy sauce? Um, no. The girls also had summer rolls. I tried these and they were ... ok. Nothing special but not bad. I can't even remember what my wife ordered, but she was unimpressed. Skip the bubble tea. My kids love tapioca, bananas, and mangos, but the bar threw this crap out after a couple of sips. Chunks of fruit swimming in milk. Nice effort on the blender, eh? In Northern Virginia and DC there are more Vietnamese restaurants than Dunkin Donut stores. [There are no less than 5 Pho kitchens within 10 minutes of my house.] I've eaten at nearly all of the restaurants over the past 25 years. Some are upscale for business people (A Taste of Saigon, for example) or just plain Pho dives (like the famous Pho 75 where NO ONE speaks English). At all of the places I've tried I have NEVER had anything as remotely poor as the food at Pho Saigon. Only one other Pho joint in the United States was as bad as Pho Saigon, and it is now fortunately out of business -- the fact of which likely raised the happy factor for living in Denver a few percentage points. Pho Saigon has got to be some kind of joke that makes its money off of tourists and old retired military pogues (based on the loud conversation of the pant-loads at the table next to us). I can't see how it would attract repeat customers who've been exposed to anything else anywhere else. Bleh. Kevin, our waiter, really had a great time working the joint on behalf of an absent owner/chef who "really knew how to make authentic Viet cuisine". Absent chef -- on a Friday night in a downtown restaurant? Give me a break. And thanks for the condescension and smug remarks at the expense of my kids. I guess you really did grow up in Manassas, Virginia because you're a class act all the way.

    good place..... ask your waiter they are great for suggestions. Chris is an amazing chef, He prepared a three course meal for my wife and I, while the owner played the piano. The ambiance is perfect for a nice dinner.

    I was visiting some family for Thanksgiving and decided to check on Yelp for somewhere to have dinner. Like Christopher P said, it was really dark and completely empty when we walked in. But we were greeted right away by a friendly server and took our choice of seats. My grandmother was with me and she had never eaten Vietnamese food, so it was a true testament to their patience as the server explained everything in detail for her. She ordered one of their specials, a beef dish stir fried with vegetables and rice on the side. I had a bite and it was very good. I ordered vegetable and tofu pho, which is my staple at Vietnamese restaurants. It wasn't quite as tasty as I had hoped, but it was still good. I'm not sure about the area or what other Vietnamese offerings are around, but it didn't quite live up to the Vietnamese restaurants I frequent in Miami. We also had the summer roll appetizer, which was mainly noodles and shrimp. I'm used to there being more variety of vegetables, along with mint or basil leaves inside. The peanut dipping sauce was good. Again, I'm not familiar with the area, so I don't know the average prices. I thought they were incredibly reasonably priced - $10-14 for specials (like the beef dish) and $9-12 for pho. I did like that the owner and his family, who were eating there as we finished, stood up to thank us as we left.

    We are from New Jersey so it's our first time here. My mom says the pho is the best she tried so far in Florida. The drinks here are great. The service here is amazing. The waiters are quirky and fun. You'll have a great time here.

    This place was ok. Overpriced I think--- however, they can get away with it since they seem to be the only Viet place in the Daytona area. Food was good. Service was good. No big wow factor for me. $4.95 Boba Teas, $9.95 bowl of Pho, $7.95 wings appetizer that had 5 itty bitty wings-- $5 2 pieces of egg rolls $15 crispy noodles-- and these are lunch prices.

    While the summer rolls are still the best I've had in the state, or perhaps anywhere, even, the pho itself this time was not impressive at all. The chicken seemed to be a poor cut and the noodles were stuck together as if they'd been cooked some time ago and left in a bowl to dish into orders of pho when those orders came in, which may be exactly what happened and would be fine except the noodles were overcooked and mushy--like store-bought ones instead of homemade. I just expect better from this restaurant however it's still alright.

    This place was an amazing find. The owners quite possibly are the friendliest people around. I had the bun and it was so fresh and delicious. The food came out pretty fast and there wasn't an open table in the place. I definitely recommend this place!

    It's the beast PHO I've never had in my life ...!!! Plenty of flavor, the food always fresh and healthy, The atmosphere inside warmly and the servers were very nice and professional. I must return here every time when I'm back in daytona breach..!!!!!! Love this place.

    When my husband and I arrived we were seated quickly and our waiter was very friendly. Like many others, the Pad Thai was mediocre at best. The flavor was "subtle" meaning it really could have had more flavor. While I've eaten a lot of Pad Thai having lived in and around the Washington DC Metro area, I've never had the egg cooked quite this way and it was burnt. The chicken and vegetables could have been cut smaller by the chef. My husband's beef tenderloin clay pot was not flavorful either, he needed to add a lot of Soy Sauce in order to get any flavor. We were disappointed and expected more.

    PHO TIME in Daytona Beach on my birthday, so I am in heaven! Love this place, as always and so far it's been 1.5 years of frequenting this lovely establishment. I usually order the regular-sized Pho Ga (chicken) and get a couple of Banh Mi (Viet chicken subs). The Banh Mi ain't your average Subway sandwich, either. It is colorfully dressed with all sorts of healthy edible greens and laced with their secret recipe dressing that keeps me coming back for me. Seriously, whenever I crave a sandwich, this is the only one I desire. The chicken in it is grilled to perfection and you can taste that even some of the veggies in it are grilled, as well. I will try to try more things on this menu, but what I described above is usually what I crave so much and the drive is about 25-30 minutes into Daytona Beach lol. The food (obviously) and the excellent customer service keeps this place at 5 stars for me. You will not be disappointed.

    Most be under new mngmnt. Previous visits were great. Tonight service was lame. Food just ok but slow even though there was only 1 other table occupied. Made us feel like we were doing them a favor. Just a strange vibe. Not the family that use to serve and play piano and make it worth the $. The place next to walgreens/marshalls on nova and dunlaughton is a better option.

    Here your are paying more for less! My bill for the same food was almost $15, when it was only $11 in California! Also the place I was at in northern California had a significantly higher cost of living than here in the Daytona area, so it should have been cheaper. Not the case! My pork vermicelli came from the kitchen with a mass of noodles and a sprinkling of pork! Everything is pretty bland. The spring rolls were quite bland and the sauce it came with was also lacking in flavor. I'm used to going to Pho Saigon #1; it's cheaper and better. The staff was pretty friendly, which was nice but if the food is not up to par then it doesn't account into my rating.

    We ordered: -vegetable & tofu pho: 4.5 stars. (Would have been 5 but they used fried tofu in it instead of fresh). -basil fried rice: 3 stars. A bit greaser than most and smaller serving then we're used too, But regular on taste. -fresh spring rolls with tofu: 3 stars. Wasn't memorable but wasn't bad. -clay pot rice with vegetables, tofu, and curry: 4 stars. A little greasy for my taste. **customer service: 5 stars. Would definitely return for the pho! :)

    Stopped here with my for some hot and yummy soup and that is what we got! They serve the soup in large deep bowls that are perfect for sipping ever last drop of savory broth. We had their spring rolls as a appetizer and it came with a peanut sauce that was out of this world! Whenever we are in the area, we'll be sure to return to this nifty spot.

    Not bad. Pho was decent. This place gets busy at lunch time, so come before 11:30am. Clean restaurant and friendly servers. My server was quick so I was in and out in 35mins for my lunch break. I would come back--when I'm in town.

    The service here is always good. They have the best pho in the Daytona Beach area. If you want Vietnamese food, this is the place. I also recommend the clay pot dishes and the ginger fish snapper. Don't forget to have some appetizers like the fresh rolls or the bok choy. As an added benefit, have their chili paste. SPICY!!!

    I was craving some warm broth and comfort during my visit in Daytona Beach, so we looked up s om lunch places on yelp and thought we'd try this place. Maybe I'm too used to the deeper and richer broth on the west coast, where I'm from, but I found the soup a little lacking. The service was also a little lacking. The pho did its job to satisfying my craving for some warm broth, but I'm not sure if I'd come back again.

    Just had lunch here and I must say this place is pretty good. The restaurant locates at the corner of the street, yellow-cottage looking on the outside and cozy on the inside. I ordered pho Saigon, rice w/ grilled pork, shrimp, and eggrolls, crispy rice noodle combination, clay-potted rice w/pork, and a fried rice combo. My tab is $70. You might think it's overpriced, but they are located by the beach! What do you expect?

    I consider myself a pho-king Pho Lover. I eat it once a week. Pho at this place is pho-king terrible. The soup base is terrible. It's like they used a powdered soup base and not a quality all day simmer beef bone kind of stock. It will leave an after taste long after having dessert at Cow Licks. I suspect tooooo much MSG and a lack of respect for their most popular Noodle Soup. How could you! fyi, Pho is probably one of the easiest dishes to make, soup stock being the most important. If you can't make soup stock, you don't have passion for your food! p.s. The worst pho I have ever had.

    "Pho'k yeah!" Okay so we didn't even have the pho--I just wanted to say "pho'k yeah" BUT the Clay pot dishes are amazing! Also the skillet dish--on the menu it is "L5." The sweet tea is also very unique and delicious using an Asian-style tea instead of the traditional tea that goes with iced tea. Also had the shrimp wonton appetizer (basic), fresh rolls with peanut sauce (peanut sauce was one of the best I've had) were excellent, and the crab rangoons (these are just your basic but we always get them). The fried ice cream dessert is something I've never had. It's actually been deep fried-the outside is a dough but the interior is solid ice cream. Sweet and a perfect end to a great meal.

    A nice little restaurant not far from the beach. It looked quiet from the outside but saw quite a few Vietnamese people eating there, which to me is a good sign. Friendly service even if the English was not great. Food was all fresh. My wife said her noodles were a bit bland but I liked the fried rice with beef. I would definitely go there again when next in Daytona Beach.

    Driving by I saw a sign for bubble teas. YES! I had to go in and try to see if I would have two places in the area that serve one of my favorite addictions. I ordered the almond milk tea with pearls. As usual, the milk teas are highly sweetened for the local clientele; if you are like me, just ask for less. Such a tasty dessert, but it is a tad more expensive and smaller than what you get at Yomii down in Port Orange. Pho Saigon's tapioca pearls are cooked better, though. Now I just have to try the rest of the food.

I travel all of North America for a living; with that said I must admit that the Pho Ga here ranks high on my list of quality. The broth is important to me and this place has fantastic flavor.     Excellent banh mi: flavorful on a soft yet crispy bun. The pho broth is very flavorful, though does benefit from a squirt or two of Sriracha. Spring rolls with pork were made delicious with their peanut sauce, although the rice wrapper was chewy. The atmosphere was welcoming and one can tell that this restaurant is family-owned and run with wholehearted dedication. The Christmas decorations, though gaudy, showed enthusiasm for pleasing customers of all backgrounds. Would come back for a casual lunch.

    A serious disappointment on several counts. Takeaway: (1) tasteless, bland food. (2) Weird atmosphere trying hard to be quirky. (3) Smug hipster servers with attitudes. Do yourself a favor and eat a pizza instead. Spent $100 for five people, which is not a big deal if the chow is decent, but no. Pho broth was utterly tasteless and watered down, and couldn't be helped by ANY condiment -not even my beloved Sriracha -- available at the table. I even tried soy sauce in a last desperate effort to do something with this "thing". Pho came with a short serving of beansprouts and 1 (one!) slice of jalapeno. C'mon, really? But what put me off was the eye of round in the broth. It looked to be sliced off a large piece of beef with a knife -- uneven thicknesses and odd shapes. Coincidentally, it looked like the same slices of beef, however cooked, that was served in some beef and brown sauce plate my teenage son ordered. Would it kill you to buy a meat slicer and use it for the soup?? Nice and tough meat too. Good quality -- NOT. My daughters had lemon grass bun -- both with chicken. Chicken was tasteless (like boiled tasteless) and the bun had absolutely no flavoring save for the herbs -- I guess we're supposed to drown it in fish and soy sauce? Um, no. The girls also had summer rolls. I tried these and they were ... ok. Nothing special but not bad. I can't even remember what my wife ordered, but she was unimpressed. Skip the bubble tea. My kids love tapioca, bananas, and mangos, but the bar threw this crap out after a couple of sips. Chunks of fruit swimming in milk. Nice effort on the blender, eh? In Northern Virginia and DC there are more Vietnamese restaurants than Dunkin Donut stores. [There are no less than 5 Pho kitchens within 10 minutes of my house.] I've eaten at nearly all of the restaurants over the past 25 years. Some are upscale for business people (A Taste of Saigon, for example) or just plain Pho dives (like the famous Pho 75 where NO ONE speaks English). At all of the places I've tried I have NEVER had anything as remotely poor as the food at Pho Saigon. Only one other Pho joint in the United States was as bad as Pho Saigon, and it is now fortunately out of business -- the fact of which likely raised the happy factor for living in Denver a few percentage points. Pho Saigon has got to be some kind of joke that makes its money off of tourists and old retired military pogues (based on the loud conversation of the pant-loads at the table next to us). I can't see how it would attract repeat customers who've been exposed to anything else anywhere else. Bleh. Kevin, our waiter, really had a great time working the joint on behalf of an absent owner/chef who "really knew how to make authentic Viet cuisine". Absent chef -- on a Friday night in a downtown restaurant? Give me a break. And thanks for the condescension and smug remarks at the expense of my kids. I guess you really did grow up in Manassas, Virginia because you're a class act all the way.

    Overall I enjoyed the food here. The egg roll and clear roll with grilled pork were decent. The Vietnamese sub was actually not bad at all. However, the beef tenderloin sizzler was very greasy & the pho was somewhat bland. The kicker is they automatically charged 18% gratuity for 5 people onto our bill. Ouch. For average everything (service, atmosphere, & food) no need for high high high tips.

    Yay for Yelp and the reviews that made me want to pop in. Started with the fresh rolls (yum!) The chicken pho came with sprouts and fresh herbs and just tasted so "clean" which was great because I was starving and needed good, healthy food to fill me up and not junk. Then the coconut bubble tea?!?! Heaven! So good! Definitely recommend this place!

    After years of wondering what this place was all about, I finally went for lunch. We got there before noon, and apparently this place fills up, so make sure that you get there before the rush. Also, the parking lot is kind of cramped, even for a small car like mine. The Pho I ordered had veggie broth, noodles and mixed veggies. It was very flavorful, ample and filling. Regardless of what Kenny Bania says, soup is a meal.

    Clean, comforting and delicious. This simple restaurant serves steaming bowls of fragrant and healthy goodness. I had #27 the seafood pho along with the iced jasmine tea. The soup was loaded with fresh vegetables, shrimp and squid it was feast for my nose and mouth. The service was friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer so I could come back more often and try some of the other dishes. What I saw going by looked fresh and beautifully served.

    Pretty good! I recently visited Pho Saigon. I had the Grilled chicken with curry lemongrass with vermicelli which was very tasty. When you first walk into the building its really dark and empty but I trusted the yelp reviews and took a chance. To my surprise my meal was good. I will visit again.

    The best pho I've had in Daytona Beach. I come here every time I am visiting the area. The restaurant is always clean and there's plenty of parking. I've always had friendly servers and the the atmosphere is very laid back. The food is very good- I had a pad thai once and multiple times the pho ga (chicken). The medium sized bowl is still huge and the broth is delicious. Plenty of meat, lime, basil and sprouts. Will continue coming back every visit.

    The food was great. We eat Vietnamese cuisine on a regular basis. My only problem with this place is the slower than normal service. I think they only had one cook & one waitress. They should change this quickly if they want to stay afloat. There were a few things they missed the mark on due to being understaffed.

    I've eaten here many times and love it each time, the staff and atmosphere are great too. This place has the best bahn mi, chicken fried rice, chicken pad thai, and Pho ga around. I'm from DC and very picky. I searched all over for a good Vietnamese restaurant when we moved here. This place has the best Vietnamese food I've had in the state of Florida and i can't wait to go back.

    I am from NY and am a picky eater when it comes to Viet places. I have my favorite Viet place in Brooklyn and my other favorite Bahn Mi shop in Brooklyn. And I can't believe that my cousin, who has been living in Daytona for almost a year has never stepped foot in here...shame on u! With expectations low when I travel outside NYC, I never expect anything than finding a mere decent Asian restaurant. This place is half a restaurant in the front with the rear and 2nd level appearing to be living quarters or attached apartments. Anyway, there is outdoor seating outside and numerous tables inside. This place is very well kept and decor is not old nor boring nor extravagant nor too Asiany (I know that isn't really a word)...it's a quiet, relaxing place to grab lunch or dinner. The hostess, cashier, waitress was a very friendly and nice Caucasian lady, which surprised me...but she knew her Pho, Bun, Bahn Mi's, etc....I forgot to ask for her name but she cool. I ordered grilled pork & chicken on vermicelli noodles (without broth) and boy was it fresh and tasty and really good! Upon inquiring, I found out that many herbs and veggies are grown in their backyard. Billy, the owner arrived in the U.S. in the 70's and the chefs are Viet. One last thing, the prices here are actually high for Viet...I think my dish was $10-$11...in Brooklyn, I pay around $6-$7. But, it isn't really comparable. If in Daytona and you are in the mood for Asian food and actually and aficionado for Asian food...your First Stop And Probably Only Stop is Pho Saigon!

    This was my first trip to Pho Saigon and I found the place to be very clean and neat. The staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Our party of four included a vegan and there were plenty of dishes for her to choose from. The rest of us shared several different appetizers and all of them were good. We also ordered a whole fried snapper as well as two kinds of Pho. Each of those was more than ample in size so we ended up taking half of the orders home in Pho-To-Go containers. All of the dishes were authentic, fresh, hot and served quickly. The only down side for me was that the current menu is not as expansive as the one on their website and a lot of their dishes shown on line have been eliminated, so wait until you actually get there to choose your meal. The prices shown on the website are also not reflective of the current rates. That aside, I will definitely be going back to try more of Pho Saigon's dishes in the very near future.     This place is OK, as far as restaurants in Daytona goes its better then most, but as far as Vietnamese goes its not great, but still good. I tried a variety of items here the other day. One thing that really stood out as original was the pork stuffed chicken wings. Apparently the waiters mother thought that one up or brought the idea over from Vietnam, who knows? The "bun" noodles with pork were really good, the pho was tasty. The only problem was the portions were a little on the skimpy side. Some more noodles would have made everything alright. Service was good and the place was clean.

    The place was dark and empty but based on our Yelp search was sat down and prepared for a good meal. They have all the Vietnamese classic like Bun and Bahn Mi, but I always get Bun with lemongrass tofu when trying a new place. We started with tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce and they tasted good and fresh. They also have a Chinese beer I like called Tsingtao. My girl got a special from the back page of the menu of some grilled Mahi and vegetables with white rice. That fish was so good and moist, her onions were caramelized but yet crunchy. I loved her dish more than mine. The music is a little tacky but somewhat unique. It's like some sad Vietnam war theme music with a beat. The owner is cool and came by after he saw me looking around and at him. They seem to be enjoying themselves at a table near the kitchen. More customers came in as we ate. I would be here often if I called Daytona home. P.S. Their point of sale system is pretty old so don't go expecting split items on split checks and itemized copies of such said madness. It can't be done and will just cause confusion and ruin your experience.

    Cam here not expecting much because it's Daytona and was pleasantly surprised. I am pretty picky when it comes to Pho as it's something I ear often. The waitress here said that the Pho is the owner's family recipe and many of the herbs are grown on-site. Everything we tried was pretty great. I won't stop going to my usual spot in Orlando but this one can fill in when I'm feeling the need for some Pho in Daytona. Give it a try.

    Great place! I love their peanut sauce with the Spring Rolls, and their food is always so fresh. I normally have lunch here, they have Vietnamese sandwiches that are delicious and reasonable!

    Pho was good! for a Pho place to be in Daytona Beach, I was shocked that the broth was good and just as comparable to San Jose, CA's quality. I was expecting below par standards but was pleasantly surprised to find the pho to be VERY authentic. 3 stars and a half for authenticity in Daytona Beach. Coffee was also good. The staff was very courteous and polite, I love the service!!!! 4 stars!!! The bad deal - they open too late and close too soon :( but everyone must have a life!!!

    The pho here is amazing! Please try it the broth is truly a crafted broth. I wouldn't be surprised if it's made 24-48 hours similar to a master stock. It was that good!!! I would have eaten this last night if I lived in Daytona. My throat feeling a tad scratchy from all the pollen and this soup is a great cure all! We also sampled their summer rolls, very good but would have liked some thai basil and more veggies in there. Peanut sauce was perfect though! Can't wait to return! Since I never published the first yelp I did and I came back for a 2nd trip I figured I would make some amendments, the 1st time was great the 2nd time I would have to rate it at a 7. The summer rolls were better this time but the pho lacked. Maybe lunch time, idk? I was a tad embarrassed b/c I bragged to a friends and brought her along. She ordered the chickens based pho broth with (hers was better). After we ordered our traditional phos 1st one under pho they told us they were out of about half the ingredients it's suppose to come with. I was only offered to add more meatballs...come on. You can't tell someone that most of the ingredients are gone and only offer more meatballs. The broth was also less flavorful. I originally gave a 5 star, but now I'm giving 4.

    My honey and I went to lunch here with his boss on a very slow Tuesday afternoon. By very slow I mean that we were one of only four tables in there at the height of the "lunch rush". Our waitress was very nice but the service was as slow as molasses!! it took 45 minutes for our lunch to arrive at our table after we ordered. Once it finally arrived lunch was delicious. We all had pho and were stuffed by the end of the meal. We'll go back again but just not when we are in a hurry. Side note: a man came in as we were getting our bill, ordered take-out and it was ready when we were walking out!!! Next time take-out???

    I wanted to like this mostly well-reviewed place. I took two friends here last week and the dining experience was rough... from the dirty table, to the terribly bland fresh spring rolls, to the uber-spicy pho (and I LOVE hot food), to the painfully shy young server, to the over the hill (brown) broccoli. The one bright spot was the chicken dumpling soup, which I ordered for myself but later gave to the guest of honor as she was literally choking on her overly spicey pho.

    Very tasty pho and great service. My mom ordered the seafood pho, and for her first experience with pho, was very pleased. I've had a lot of pho previously, and my standard order of pho with everything (brisket,tendon,rare steak,tripe,beef balls) was very tasty. Bonus points for offering something other than greasy fried seafood that seemed to dominate the area.

    Service is often hurried but you will get in and out in a lunch break time. Lots of fresh tasting items that have flovor from the ingredients, not corn starch and base. They actually grow some of the vegetables that they use and many of the fresh herbs. I cant begin to name the dishes, except for the fresh rolls. My wife has tried several soups which are, typical for this kind of place, a main course item. I have had several stir fry dishes- lots of fresh vegetables. Not a fancy place but neat and clean. We always leave having enjoyed ourselves.

    I should have flown in my folks in from Pho 79! Very little flavor in the soup, just salt. Spring rolls were good though, and the young man serving us was nice. The cooks need to go through Pho University. Holler at me!

    Springy, soft noodles, fresh summer rolls. The food here was surprisingly very, very good for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere! I am obsessed with pho and the broth was flavorful, without being laden with MSG like at some places I've been to. It wasn't a revelatory bowl of soup, but still very much worth your visit. Our teenage waiter was extremely polite and courteous, and our outdoor table was fantastic. The weather was perfect that day. I just wish they closed a little later!

    This was my first experience with Pho, and it was a good one. My buddy eats Pho all of the time, and he said it was on par with all the places he usually goes. Nothing life altering, but good Pho. We both agreed the egg rolls were very good, the service was great. I recommend having a '33' (Vietnamese beer) with it.

    I ordered P6, which is the Pho with medium rare steak.. the soup was really good and so was the fried chicken wing appetizer. Family owned establishment; very very friendly owners/staff. Beer is ridiculously cheap here.... $2.50 I would definitely go back here.
